About Mrs. Drewisis & Mr. Frazier
Meet Mrs Drewisis:
This is my 14th year teaching and my 10th year teaching fifth grade in Mount Sinai. I love teaching and can't wait for a great year ahead.
Fifth grade was my favorite year in school. It was then that I knew I wanted to become a teacher. I am very organized and like to set goals. I have high expectations for myself and my students. I love to ask questions and learn something new every day! My goal is to inspire my students to want to learn and enjoy improving their skills.
Interests:
My favorite color is Peridot green. I have 2 young kids, Alexander is 5 and starting Kindergarten this year, and Hazel turned 1 in May. I have two dogs named Cara and Jake. I love listening to music, especially country music. My favorite group is Sugarland - I am so excited that they finally got back together. Julia Roberts is my all-time favorite actress. I love to cook and entertain. My favorite subject in school is Math! I love to find math in everything I do. I also enjoy playing hockey and riding my bike. I recently got a Peloton and try to ride daily.
Meet Mr Frazier:
Hello everyone. This is my 18th year as a special education teacher here at Mount Sinai Middle School. I come to work each day thinking of how I can help my students – your children – become better learners, enjoy their 5th grade year, and feel special. This is my job and I love it! Like Mrs. Drewisis, 5th grade was my favorite year in school. It was the one year that I was a student at Mount Sinai (when there was only an elementary school on the property). I had an amazing teacher who helped me learn and made me feel important. In my career I strive to do for my students what she did for me.
Interests:
My favorite color is orange. I have 2 cats, Kevin Bacon & Alice. My favorite thing to do on a nice day is work in my yard or go kayaking. I love creating things – art projects, painting… My favorite type of music is Rock.
